Midfielder to come back to haunt former club

Kevin de BruyneChelsea fans have been a bit worried of late that their club could have made a massive mistake in selling midfielder Kevin De Bruyne two transfer windows ago.

The Belgium international was snapped up by Premier League rivals Manchester City this summer for a whopping £58m, after a hugely impressive last season with Wolfsburg where he scored 10 goals, and set up a further 20.

Mourinho notoriously labelled De Bruyne a ‘cry baby’ during his time at Stamford Bridge. Now reports in the Daily Star say that De Bruyne cannot wait to show Chelsea and Mourinho what they have missed out on, by propelling Manchester City to the title and performing in future games versus his former club.

After impressing for Belgium in the last few days Manchester City fans have been heard clinking pints in celebration and hope that their new signing can hit the ground running in his first games for the Manchester outfit.
