Moore’s Midweek Moneymaker by Paddy Power

It’s time for some more big money tips on the big TV games of the coming week. Just so those of you whose teams are not involved can find a reason to turn in during the week.

Tonight, on Sky Sports 1, Brentford play Exeter in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy South Final 1st leg. Having just played in the League on Saturday and finished 1-1, I fancy another draw, particularly as a lot of JPT 1st legs have been dull ‘keep ourselves in the tie’ games. Therefore, a 0-0 draw (8/1) would be a good shout.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday night over on ESPN, it is Sven Goran Eriksson’s return to Eastlands as Leicester go to Manchester City in the FA Cup 3rd Round replay. Having seen the previous instalment of this battle there is only one way to go on this one and that involves Leicester’s new centre-half. He may not be the greatest at the back, but City couldn’t handle him at his own end so Sol Bamba to score first (50/1) is a good call. But in my book, he’s almost guaranteed to hit the net at some point, so I’d make it a (45/1 Insurebet) and get your stake back in case somebody else beats him to it.

On ITV Thursday night, Leeds take on Arsenal at Elland Road. As much as Leeds are very good at home, they were lucky to get away with a draw to the point where I thought they were fated to win. Arsenal will want this game done early doors and have the ability to do it, Arsenal to score at least 2 first half goals (3/1).
