Indeed, the Spaniard needs to make the most of his limited opportunities in the side if he is to have any future at Anfield, with a January move possibly in the offing.
Indeed, the Reds could do with some cover on the left-hand side of the defence, so the 26-year-old could work his way back into contention if he can impress the boss.
Adam Lallana’s career continues to tumble downhill at Liverpool due to injuries and a lack of first team football.
It comes as no surprise that the Englishman has struggled to work his way into Klopp’s plans this season, with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane forming one of the deadliest attacks in Europe and James Milner, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum all fighting for a place in midfield.
So, the 30-year-old needs to start pulling his weight if he is to stand any chance of securing a future at Liverpool, with the January transfer window getting closer by the day.
