Mourinho delivers some good injury news for Man Utd ahead of Tottenham showdown

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to their side’s upcoming clash with Tottenham. It will be a real test of the quality of Jose Mourinho’s side as they look to secure second-place in the Premier League.

Tottenham haven’t had the best few weeks, with their form proving to be inconsistent, and so there is certainly an opening for the Red Devils to pick up three points.

Fortunately, ahead of the game, Jose Mourinho has delivered some good news for his team. According to Mourinho, via the official Man Utd website, Man Utd have no fresh injury concerns following on from their game against Yeovil Town at the weekend – with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly the only problems that Mourinho has to deal with.

The Premier League has been working very hard recently, so we don’t mind that it’s going to put its feet up this weekend and have a little rest. When it triumphantly returns on Tuesday, we’ve got a very tempting outright win Accy for you to consider, which benefits from LeoVegas enhanced odds. For the more adventurous bettors, we’ve also put together Championship fourfold that will pay incredibly long odds—check it out and let us know what you think of our coupon proposals!

Whilst the fans in the pub are hopeful of a return for Ibrahimovic and Bailly sooner, rather than later – they can’t help but toast to the news that Mourinho has delivered.

They’ve had more than a few major issues over the course of the season, with key players like Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba missing out on some key games in recent months.

It’s sure to be a tough game for Man Utd. Though inconsistent, on their day there is nobody better than Tottenham – and so they cannot take the game lightly. Still, their lack of injury concerns will give them a good boost.

Landlord’s Verdict

This is great news for Man Utd.

With the team likely to be buoyed on by the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, the last thing they needed was to suffer a setback. Games are coming thick and fast at the moment, and so every player will be needed.

It will be the first high-profile game in which Sanchez can show off his class for the Old Trafford faithful, and so it will be interesting to see how he will adjust.
