Chelsea keen to sign youngster on permanent deal

bertrand-traoreChelsea fans are looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by the Metro that Jose Mourinho is desperate to net Bertrand Traore.

The 17 year old is currently on trial at the club and has managed to impress the Special One ten fold – so much so that Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to land him on a permanent basis and claimed that ‘Traore we would like to keep,’

‘For a 17-year-old boy, sooner or later, the committee has to give him a permit to play in England.

‘He’s been playing for his country at the same time as training with us – he should get his deserved permit.

‘There are no dramas with it. It’s fantastic for him to come here and play with us, and it’s fantastic for Chelsea.’

The idea of course is to get the young starlet to sign a deal as soon as he turns 18 and then place him in the Chelsea first team squad almost straight away.

The club are also chasing Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney yet are finding landing the England International much harder than originally thought after the stance taken by David Moyes and Manchester United.

Will Mourinho get his star? Rate this rumour below.
