Mourinho to SANCTION £20m Chelsea bid for Bundesliga star

Marco Reus Jose Mourinho does not mince his words and according to Metro it seems that he does not mince his actions either and our regulars in the Football Transfer Tavern are pretty sure he will get his man.

The Chelsea boss has reportedly ordered the club to sanction a £20 million bid for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus who has been heavily linked to not only Chelsea but a whole host of other clubs this season as well.

Mourinho wants the deal signed and sealed before a rival bidder manages to lure the German international away from Signal Iduna Park.

The reports claim Chelsea would allow Reus to remain with his current club until the end of the season.

According to our punters, the Blues’ capture of Reus would certainly stand out as a massive coup, not to mention a bargain if he was landed for just £20 million.

It would however cast massive doubts over the futures of both current Blues pair Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah with Mourinho only able to keep so many wingers and attacking midfielders content in one squad.

Chelsea fans. Would you be happy to see Reus arrive at the club? Who would you sacrifice to get him in the starting line-up? Let us know your thoughts below.
