Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure all three points against Cardiff City yesterday in what was a rather nervy encounter at Wembley Stadium.
The Lilywhites haven’t exactly reached their maximum potential in the current campaign as they have looked vulnerable at times, but there’s no doubt that they find themselves in a promising position right now. Although, one of their star players is eyeing a move away, as according to Sun Sport, Mousa Dembele is heading for the exit door.
Mousa Dembele is heading out of Tottenham next year for nothing.
Indeed, the Belgian is a free agent next summer and will not be holding talks with Spurs to extend his stay in North London beyond this season.
Interestingly, it’s understood that Dembele turned down a number of offers from other European clubs after the World Cup, with a number of Chinese clubs also interested.
But, a move to the sunnier climates of the Middle East is high on the agenda.
The Lilywhites will be gutted that the Belgian is looking to take his footballing career elsewhere as he has been a great player over the years.
But, with the midfielder attracting interest from all over the world in the form of the China and Europe, with a move to the Middle East also high on the agenda.
So, the London club will desperately need to find a suitable replacement at the end of the season.
