Moyes braced for unwelcome transfer battle this summer at West Ham – Report

West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be starting to become concerned that they could lose some of their better players once the transfer window opens as clubs start to circle around.

The Hammers look to have found form and momentum at the right time to keep them in the Premier League for another season, however, some of the performances from their stars may have attracted to some unwanted interest.

The Sun are claiming that Arthur Masuaku has been putting in solid displays since his 2016 move from Olympiacos that a number of sides are looking at signing the full-back. The Frenchman is believed to be happy at the London Stadium but is thought to prefer Champions League football.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and AS Monaco have all shown an interest in the 24-year-old, however, David Moyes is hopeful he can keep him with the Irons as he would have more of a certainty when it comes to first-team football, although he will need to brace himself for a £20million bidding war.

Landlord’s Verdict

West Ham fans in the Tavern will know they will have a battle on their hands to keep the full-back at the London Stadium next season, with many of the locals concerned he may want to move so he can play in Europe’s biggest competition. Punters will be urging Moyes and the club to do everything they can to keep him and fend off any potential offers.
