The Citizens in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to rumours from Sky Sports News that claim Manchester City want to be kept informed by Crystal Palace over any updates surrounding Wilfried Zaha. The Ivorian livewire is just the latest winger in a long list of players who’ve been linked with a move to The Etihad this summer.

Without Wilfried Zaha, Crystal Palace would no doubt be a Championship club by now. The Eagles lost their first seven games of the season and failed to score a single goal in that time. However, when Zaha made his long-awaited return from injury Roy Hodgson’s side began to tick again and now they’re preparing for their 6th straight year playing in the Premier League. If the club are to maintain their incredible top-flight status into a 7th season, keeping Zaha will have to be high on their priority list.
Hodgson will have his work cut out for next season if he loses his starman though. Zaha has been linked with some of the Premier League’s biggest hitters, with Tottenham Hotspur, in particular, showing an interest in April’s Premier League Player of the Month. Pep Guardiola’s side have the financial power to bring in almost any player on the planet although it would be a questionable move for both the club and the player if Zaha was to up stakes to The Etihad, seeing as his game time would be limited with both Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling firing on the Sky Blues flanks.

Nah… Leon Bailey & Riyad Mahrez ＞＞＞

Zaha is a terror, would be great for rotation and size and strength compared to Sterling

We don’t need Zaha

Forget his roots and he's one of the best deals for a homegrown young pacy right footed winger. Leon Bailey, Mahrez, Brahim, Foden, Zinchenko, Roberts all are left footed. Zaha fits the bill.

Mahrez is more clever and more clinical.
