West Ham United are thought to want to add to their attacking line in the January transfer window and it appears as though Manuel Pellegrini could have been handed a huge transfer boost.
The Irons have been linked with the Emiliano Sala in recent weeks and according to a report in France, it is believed that their chances of landing him could have been increased.
However, they also state that Girondins de Bordeaux will be due 50% of the fee, so any deal may not come cheaply for the Argentine.
And, the interest thought to be held in him could make it that more difficult for Pellegrini as well, with Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Fulham being named in the report as possible clubs Sala could join.
The Hammers currently have the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and Lucas Perez to call upon, however, the latter of the trio do not appear to be in his plans at the moment.
The Mexican international has proven to be key recently with his performances, however, there is a doubt about how long he will remain in the capital.
Sala has been in red-hot form for Nantes during his time with the Ligue One outfit and has continued to produce this season, with 11 goals in 14 appearances for the French side.
However, with their acceptance that they will need to offload him in January, it will certainly boost Pellegrini’s chances of trying to bring him to the London Stadium.
The Argentine will have a number of suitors to choose from, however, with Premier League football thought to be favoured by the South American, he could be playing his football in England in the very near future, with West Ham hoping it will be for them.
