NEW channel secured rights to air Manchester United match!

Despite finishing seventh last season and failing to qualify for the Champions League, Manchester United have spent more than any other Premier League club this summer.

Louis van Gaal’s purchases of Angel Di Maria and the loan move for Radamel Falcao means United now have the most expensively assembled squad in the Premier League – don’t even get me started on the wages!

But still, the 20-time-English champions are yet to win a competitive game under van Gaal despite starting the season with winnable games against the likes of Swansea City, Sunderland, Burnley and erm.. MK Dons.

In fact, following their 4-0 humiliation to MK Dons in the Capital One Cup, Comedy Central stepped up and brought the rights to their next fixture at Burnley!

It proved to be a good call. At the moment United are far more suited to that channel with the laughs they are giving the rest of the Premier League!
