Roberto Martinez’s side fell to two own goals that hands fourth place to Arsenal if they can defeat Newcastle United on Monday night.

However The Mirror are able to offer some positive news as they report that the Toffees are preparing a new improved deal for Seamus Coleman amid speculation about possible interest from Arsenal.

This has reportedly seen Arsene Wenger eyeing up the 25-year-old as a potential replacement for Bacary Sagna at the Emirates Stadium. As we reported yesterday, the French right back is expected to depart as his contract expires in the summer.

Manchester United were also thought to be looking at Coleman but the departure of David Moyes could spell an end to this interest.
