It is thought that Chelsea are happy with the progress the youngster has made, but with their current track record of promoting from the youth team chances may be limited for the youngster at Stamford Bridge. Speaking about his future plans Kane said:
“Chelsea say that I prepare normally for the new season in the first-team. I grew up in Chelsea and would like to break through [there]. That there are so many options is nice. The Netherlands is beautiful, but the Premier League is a bigger competition. The point is then what are my prospects, and what Chelsea want. The summer is very important.”
Although the Newcastle and Southampton fans in The Transfer Tavern are now debating where the youngster would be better of plying his trade and it looks like discussions could go on long into the night.
