Rafa Benitez is thought to be keen on adding attacking options to his Newcastle United squad in the winter transfer window.
The Magpies added both Salomon Rondon and Yoshinori Muto to their ranks, however, with Dwight Gayle’s departure, the Spaniard feels he needs to add one more to their ranks.
The Guinea international, who primarily plays as a winger, has been lighting up the Ligue One with his performances for the French side, having already scored five times in their opening seven league games.
Newcastle are thought to have a battle on their hands if they are to try and bring the £6.3million-rated, as per Transfermarkt, attacker to the Premier League, with the likes of Fulham and Brighton and Hove Albion also thought to hold an interest.
Newcastle definitely need to address their attacking options in January once again and Kamano could be an ideal addition.
The Magpies have struggled in front of goal, having netted just four times and the 22-year-old could look to provide an attacking threat to the side.
However, it remains to be seen if Benitez will make a move for the winger, or if he will look elsewhere, should he have limited resources to make the necessary improvements to his squad once again.
