Newcastle fans are in awe of Rondon after striker’s tweet

On Sunday, Salomon Rondon took to Twitter to share his birthday celebrations with his followers. The Venezuelan striker tweeted a picture of him with his cake and from the caption he used with the picture, it’s clear to see he’s as good a person as he is a striker, and the Newcastle fans are loving him.

Rondon is yet to score a Premier League goal for his new side but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t impressed. The striker scored his first goal for the club against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup and has got an assist to his name in the Premier League too. The fans, though, have warmed to the big man and can’t wait to celebrate him bagging in front of the Gallowgate soon.

Rondon missed out on a starting spot against Arsenal on Saturday as Joselu was preferred to him after he returned from international duty with Venezuela. Fatigue most likely played a part in that and the fans will be keen to see him starting against Crystal Palace next weekend in what will be a huge game for The Magpies. It seems that Rondon isn’t too worried about his side’s poor start and he’ll be keen to show that there’s nothing to worry about with a goal and a win in London on Saturday.

The Magpies are loving Rondon and will be keen to get him amongst the goals in the league as soon as possible.
