This summer has been one with lots of downs and very few ups for Newcastle United. The fans were lucky enough to see that Yoshinori Muto has been announced as a Newcastle player yesterday, however, with Mike Ashley in charge, it’s hard to find a reason to smile. The club could now be looking at bringing in signing number six in PSG youngsterStanley N’Soki for around £7 million.
Understand Rafa Benitez wants to bring in PSG’s French U20 left-back Stanley N’Soki – and talks have taken place. He’d cost Newcastle around £7m. However as Benitez admitted in Portugal last night, he has “no idea” if any transfers are close.

These links to the young Frenchman are seriously concerning for The Magpies. The club has previously missed out on both Joe Bryan for £6 million and Nicolas Tagliafico for £8 million and now they’re being linked to a much lower profile defender for a fee of around the same amount, it’s really hard to see why the club would be opting for the youngster from France.
Joe Bryan has been one of the best defenders in the Championship over the last 12 months whilst Tagliafico is a fully established Argentine international defender. Although it must be said, no one really believes that this young defender will be signing, especially seeing as it will cost real money and Mike Ashley rarely makes mone available. Benitez has also established that he has no idea whether anyone else will be coming in and the supporters look like they will be getting left in the dark over this one.
You can read the Geordies’ verdict on N’Soki here:
He can probably have him on a loan deal if we sell Shelvey, Dubravka and Lascelles

Don’t understand why Charnley isn’t held accountable for failing to do his job properly

He is good which equates to we wont sign him

Don’t get this Keith. We won’t pay £6 mill for joe Bryan, we won’t pay £8 mill for tagliafico yet we are gonna pay 7 for a French youngster ?

Can't be be true – we couldn't afford £6m for Bryan or £8m for a international recognized Argentinian LB what chance has this got?

The fans are far from convinced that they’ll be signing another player after Muto became signing number five yesterday.
