Newcastle fans on Twitter lavish praise on Saturday star Perez

On Saturday, Ayoze Perez became the first man to score a match-winning goal for Ayoze Perez this season. The Spanish second-striker scored a lovely headed goal to give The Magpies a 1-0 win over Watford and the fans are relieved with the win as they’ve eased their relegation fears.
This team never gives up

Perez scored some massive goals for the club last season and it looks like this season is no different, with his first strike of the campaign being one that delivers The Magpies with their first three points. The Spanish striker has come under heavy fire from his own supporters this season for his lack of form and misfirings, but no one was going to slate him after Saturday and now they’ll be keen to build on the positive atmosphere.
The next game that The Magpies face is a mouth-watering clash against Bournemouth at home. The Cherries will be looking bounce back from defeat against Manchester United, although with Rafa Benitez side now unbeaten in two, the aim will be to continue their form and make it seven points from three as they look to climb the table and get away from the danger zone, and there’s no doubting that Perez will be key in ensuring that happens.
