Newcastle fans on Twitter would do anything to see Ayoze given POTM award
Newcastle fans have had it good recently, the attacking trio of Salomon Rondon, Miguel Almiron and Ayoze Perez has worked a treat, and Perez has been the star man. The Spanish attacker scored five in five in April, and the Magpies want him named as the Premier League Player of the Month.

The Geordies have all been jumping onto the EA Sports PL POTM voting page to give their Spanish forward their vote, and it’s not just Newcastle fans who will be voting for him. Other supporters will appreciate that the Spaniard has been one of the best in the Premier League this month, and he must be up there as one of the favourites to scoop the award for April.
It won’t be easy for Perez, though, there are eight nominees and the 25-year-old is up against Eden Hazard, Mo Salah, Jordan Henderson, Shane Long, Aymeric Laporte, Chris Wood and Jamie Vardy, who have all been impressive in their own right this season. Perez should be the winner for his goals and his work rate, though, and as far as the Newcastle fans are concerned no one is more deserving than their superb #17.
