There’s a few murmurs in the Football Transfer Tavern that a host of Premier League clubs could rekindle their interest in Barcelona starlet Bojan Krkic after Italian giants AC Milan decided to let him return to Spain.
The 22-year-old forward has been a relative disappointment after making the breakthrough at the Camp Nou and has spent the last season on loan at the San Siro but with only three goals in his 19 Serie A games the club have decided against paying the pre-agreed £12.5 million to make the loan permanent.
talkSPORT now suggest that this may see the striker heading to England this summer with both Newcastle United and Liverpool thought to be interested in pursuing his signature in a bargain deal. Arsenal and Tottenham are also understood to be monitoring the situation.
Bojan had spent the previous season at Roma after he failed to fulfil the potential that had once seen him become the youngest player to represent Barca when he made his debut at just 17 years and 19 days in September 2007.
Will we see Barca give up on Bojan with the starlet coming to the Premier League this summer? Rate this rumour below.
