According to a report in The Times the Championship side have lowered there demands with regards for the fee required to land Moussa Sissoko this summer.

Magpies manager Rafa Benitez was hopeful of convincing the midfielder to remain at St. James’ Park next season but it appears that the Frenchman has made his mind up about securing a move away from the club.

Sources close to the club revealed that the original £35m tag that was put on the player was well wide if the mark.

Instead, the report claims a more realistic sum of £20m could prize the powerhouse away.

With Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Man United all linked with a move for the player this summer, and his performances for his national side in their run to the final of EURO 2016 has enhanced his reputation with many potential suitors that bids could be made imminently.

Would even £20m be far too expensive for Sissoko?
