Newcastle United will need to make a number of signings in the January transfer window if they are to be able to remain in the Premier League.
Rafa Benitez’s side are currently winless in the competition and sit at the foot of the table, with Cardiff City keeping them from being rock-bottom by virtue of goal difference.
And, it appears that they have already got one particular target in mind, with club officials having been spotted in attendance at a game abroad.
According to the Scouts in Attendance Twitter feed, Newcastle have been spotted keeping an eye on Mady Camara during Olympiakos’ 1-1 draw with AEK Athens on Sunday.

It has been noted that this was not the first time the Magpies have taken an interest in the 21-year-old midfielder, with the scout having been impressed during the Greek side’s Europa League tie against Burnley in August.
They also add that the player has been linked with signing a new deal with Olympiakos, although it is thought just the terms of his financial package are being discussed, leaving him with a contract that runs until 2023.
Newcastle will need to make a number of additions to their side this winter and Camara could be an excellent one.
The 21-year-old has made a number of impressive performances for the Greek Super League outfit and has attracted plenty of interest in his signature.
However, money will certainly be considered to be an issue for Newcastle, as it remains to be seen if they will have the financial backing to be in a position to make a bid for the Guinean.
