Newcastle United will travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday for the late kickoff as they meet Chelsea in the Premier League.
Rafa Benitez’s side are on a poor run of form currently, having failed to record a win in their last five matches across all competitions.
There are concerns over the fitness of Federico Fernandez, Mohamed Diame and Jonjo Shelvey as the trio add to a growing injury list at St. James’ Park.
All three have been rated as doubtful for the clash against Chelsea, whilst Kenedy will definitely miss the game.
The Brazilian is currently on loan from Saturday’s hosts and is ineligible to feature against his parent club.
Having four players potentially miss the game against Chelsea will be hugely concerning news for Benitez and Newcastle.
With an ever growing injury list, the Magpies will be hoping that some of their key men are available for the trip to Stamford Bridge.
Both Fernandez and Diame have played key roles for the Toon Army this season and their absences will likely be felt the most should they not be passed fit in time.
