Newcastle United: Fans love Allan Saint-Maximin’s impact in back-to-back wins

Newcastle United will enter the international break with back-to-back victories, and the come-back against Bournemouth might have fans changing their minds on Steve Bruce. The departure of Rafa Benítez was always going to be a hard pill to swallow, and Bruce has a lot to prove, but if they continue like this, things could be about to change!
Number 10, Allan Saint-Maximin was one of the stand-out performers on Saturday, being rated 7.5/10 by WhoScored and missing out on their star man award to Ciaran Clarke who was rated 7.7/10. Despite not starting the previous three games before the United win, he’s been picked by Bruce for each of the four Premier League games afterwards. Chronicle Live rated him 9/10 for his role in the Bournemouth where he also got an assist.
It’s clear he’s having a big impact on Newcastle’s current form of seven points from the last nine available, and the fans have noticed. He posted a tweet after the game simply saying “that’s the spirit”, along with a heart and fire emoji, and nearly 250 fans replied to praise his performance.
That’s the spirit ❤️🔥 #NUFC
