Newcastle United striker Salomon Rondon has been ruled out of tomorrow’s clash against Brighton and Hove Albion. Rondon has missed the last two League games due to an injury which is forcing him to miss this tie as well.
Manager Rafa Benitez said (in his pre-match press conference relayed by Lee Ryder on Twitter) : “Rondon has taken part in some of the training but is not available.” This leaves Benitez with three options for two forward roles; Joselu; Yoshinori Muto; and Ayoze Perez. Joselu can be expected to start and be supported by either Muto or Perez, the former being more likely following his brace at Old Trafford prior to the international break.
With that being said, let’s take a look at what the Newcastle fans are saying on the matter.

With no goals in the Premier League so far this season, the vast majority of fans aren’t happy with the Venezuelan’s performances.
Waste of space. Another Slimani situation. Send back and recall Gayle.

Send him back to West Brom he clearly doesn’t want to play for Newcastle

One fan seems to think West Brom loaned Rondon out very wisely.

This is getting silly. West Brom clearly knew what they were doing with this one. Would rather Muto start anyway actually. Like the look of him.
