According to a report from The Chronicle, Hull City midfielder Jarrod Bowen has stated he would be open to leaving the Tigers when his contract expires in six months, with Newcastle United previously linked.
Bowen, who bagged 22 goals and four assists in the Championship last season as per WhoScored.com, could fill a gaping hole in Steve Bruce’s squad, with current frontline struggling to score goals.
The Englishman’s statistics would suggest he is a good fit given the amount of goals he notched last season – and with his contract expiring in six months – Bruce even has the option to hold out for a cheaper deal next summer when he becomes a free agent. Furthermore, the player is averaging 3.5 shots per game – far more than anyone in their squad right now.
It’s unclear how far Newcastle are willing to go to land the 22-year-old, but fans really want to see Bowen make a move to Tyneside.
He’ll go a club like villa because they’ll be forward thinking enough to pay a fee in January. @nufc would attempt to haggle over 20k a week and a lifetime supply of donnay socks.

Sign him for free in the summer so he doesn’t need to take a step up
