According to the Daily Express, Lyon star Grenier has rubbished reports suggesting he missed a training session to try and force a move away from the French club.
The French international has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks with Arsenal, Newcastle United and Southampton all linked to his signature.
His performances last season were eye-catching and the 23-year-old scored seven goals and gained 8 assists in Ligue 1.
However Grenier has revealed that he is happy at the club and has no intentions of leaving.
He said: “I have read a lot of things about myself recently.
“Just to be clear, Lyon’s medical and technical staff have set me a specific program so I can be back at 100 per cent.
“That includes a period spent training indoors. That is why I have not been present at some of the training sessions
“I have no problem with the club and have never missed a training session intentionally.
“There is no controversy and my intention is to be back on the pitch and competing as soon as possible.”
