Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are naturally excited about how the new season could go with them back in the Premier League after a year away.
Rafa Benitez has got the side back in the top flight at the first time of asking and now the hope is that the men from St. James’ Park are going to get themselves in the mix for the top 10.
Of course, survival should be the prime aim but the fans are expecting a good season so the club will naturally need more players to arrive if that is to be the case.
Whilst we wait to see who comes in, though, the club have let Matz Sels leave on loan.
The goalkeeper, though, still wants to be in the Premier League and that is what he has said after completing his move away, being quoted by Chronicle Live as saying:
“I still have the ambitions to break into the Premier League – at Newcastle or another club.”
Sels, then, is determined to be back on these shores and we’ll just have to wait and see if he can achieve just that.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
