For the love of all that's holy, can Rafa Benitez please sign a new contract already? That is what you can hear the majority of Newcastle fans saying right now as they're desperate to keep their beloved Spanish boss.

It's no surprise they want him to stay so badly either. The 58-year-old has completely changed the atmosphere around St. James' Park because, no matter how toxic the owner may try and turn the club, Benitez is still ensuring his players put in everything to win on the pitch.

As a manager, it would be hard for Newcastle fans to pinpoint a boss who could do an even better job but for him to stay, it is essential he is given some money to make a real difference to their team.

For all the good he has done in taking them from relegation fighters to top-ten strivers, Newcastle remain a huge club that could do so much more.

So, Mike Ashley should make a move for LOSC Lille's Boubakary Soumare, as it shows the willingness to grow the club as they have the future firmly in mind. Soumare, (who is valued at £4.5 million on Transfermarkt) is just 20-years-old but already presents himself as a brilliant option for Premier League sides like Newcastle.

Although yet to start in Ligue 1, Boubakary Soumare has appeared eleven times from off the bench and even that has attracted a host of clubs, as per The Daily Star, as well as Le 10 Sport some months ago.

The central midfielder is a tirelessly-working player that could improve Newcastle's midfield options tremendously.

He was described as a "powerful and technical player who can evolve to several positions in the field." by Lille's CEO Marc Ingla (as per Sky Sports), so Benitez could potentially bag himself a very versatile player.

Whilst only young, Soumare has plenty of time to get accustomed to life in England and then focus on playing regularly, striving to make himself a better player under the reigns of Rafa Benitez.
