Demba Ba reminisces his Newcastle years with three simple words

With Newcastle currently sat 13th in the Premier League table, as well as struggling to score goals in the league – the Toon Army could certainly benefit from a free-scoring striker right about now.
These days are a stark contrast compared to the club’s attacking assets just 8 years ago when Senegalese starlet Demba Ba was plying his trade on Tyneside. The player scored 29 goals in 57 games for Newcastle – before securing a move to Chelsea in 2013.
Recently, however, Ba was kindly reminded by Newcastle’s official Twitter account just how good he was for the club, with a video of a hattrick that he had scored against Stoke in November 2011.
The striker’s response led to many mixed emotions for Toon fans – some happy to reminisce on such times, but others who were left more than upset due to the difference in circumstances since Ba’s time at the club.
All it took was a simple three-word response from the man himself to tug on the heartstrings of the Newcastle faithful.
What a time…💯🤗 https://t.co/ep6cpRVTwx
