Aleksandar Mitrovic joined Fulham on a loan deal until the end of the season, having failed to join former club Anderlecht, and has been continuously putting in impressive performances for the Cottagers. Since joining the west London outfit, the Serbian has bagged eight goals in eight games and the locals will be questioning why he did not get a look in from Rafa Benitez.
The 23-year-old has admitted he has felt good being on the pitch for every game and has aspirations of representing his country in this year’s World Cup finals, however, he does not hold any regrets on leaving Newcastle at the halfway point.

While he’s a popular figure amongst the punters clad in black and white, they’re inclined to agree with him after a difficult time of things under Rafa Benitez on Tyneside.
Newcastle fans in the Tavern will be pleased to see a fan favourite proving himself at a lower level, however, a number of locals will be scratching their heads about why he was never in Benitez’s plans and not given the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
If they can get big money for him this summer, the Magpies should probably look to sell.
