Our Newcastle fans really want to see some extra good signings come in here in the Transfer Tavern but so far that has not been the case in this window.
The men from St. James’ Park have been slow in the market so far and only Florian Lejeune and Christian Atsu have arrived for the new campaign.
For sure, then, more is going to be needed if they are to make a serious go of staying up this coming season but whilst we wait to see who else comes in, another exit has been agreed.
Indeed, as per Chronicle Live, the Magpies have allowed winger Alex Gilliead to move to Bradford on loan with the obvious hope that he’ll earn more first team football.
A lot is thought of the young winger on Tyneside and a good spell for the promotion chasing Bantams in League 1 could see him play himself into contention for a more regular spot in Newcastle’s first team.
