Newcastle: Fans dismayed as Allan Saint-Maximin reveals serious hamstring injury

Loads of Newcastle fans have been rocked by a major injury scare, as Allan Saint-Maximin admitted his hamstring injury sustained against Southampton is a “bad one”.
The 22 year-old has been a huge positive for Steve Bruce and the Magpies this season, but has been nursing an on-going hamstring issue since September.
He appears to have done some real damage now, as The Chronicle’s Lee Ryder reported that he told reporters his latest setback is a “bad one” as he left the stadium on crutches.
Allan Saint-Maximin has left the ground on crutches. It’s a hamstring problem. When asked about it he said to reporters: “Bad one” #nufc

The 22 year-old played the full match, which is quite bizarre considering he was clearly not 100% for much of the clash.
Of course, Bruce’s side won 2-1 and are now up into the top half of the Premier League table, so it is not all doom and gloom, but it is fair to say fans are in meltdown over the issue for Saint-Maximin.

Worst news possible for us that. Might mean we have to move Joelinton out to the left against Burnley and get big Andy up front. It would give us abit more height at the back when defending the inevitable long balls and set pieces we will face #nufc

And there we go. Worst injury we could pick up. Can cope with pretty much anything else apart from that #nufc

Bruce is an idiot man, why always start ASM when he clearly isn’t 100%. Another injury all because Bruce dosen’t care about fitness
