In a time where Newcastle United fans have little to be joyful about when they are firmly perched in the relegation zone on two points, Spanish boss Rafa Benitez is still able to make them smile and in-turn be a catalyst for some Northern humour himself. In his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Manchester United game tomorrow, when asked about Newcastle’s form, Benitez came out with an unusual metaphor that has sparked conversation amongst some of the Geordie fans.
Nope it's bedding and electrical, Rafa.

Should have said House of Fraser instead

Considering that owner Mike Ashley, an antagonist in the eyes of Geordie fans, obtains Sports Direct and House of Fraser alongside the club, it is very coincidental that another shop was mentioned out of the blue. There is a lot of ownership controversy of late, so it’s a testament to Benitez that he can still keep in high spirits on and off the pitch.
I heard Sports Direct sell some

A small section of fans even think it could be an indirect dig towards owner Ashley, but either way the truth will never be told.
Good on you rafa, kick Ashley where it hurts.
