Newcastle United: Some fans are warming to Steve Bruce after comeback against Bournemouth

Newcastle’s comeback against Bournemouth has seen the Magpies jump up to 13th, having taken seven points from the last nine available. Steve Bruce wasn’t exactly welcomed by the St James’ Park faithful after the departure of Rafa Benitez left a sour taste in the mouth, but recent results are working towards building a more positive relationship between the manager and the fans.
Despite complaints of defensive football, they’ve still scored more goals this season than Crystal Palace, 11 to 10, and Palace are sometimes spoken of as this exciting side with a very exciting wide man in the form of Wilfried Zaha.
Should Newcastle sign Jetro Willems permanently?
Yes

No

Newcastle’s official Twitter account posted a tweet which read “big three points! Thank you for your support today & enjoy the rest of your weekend!”, and fans took the opportunity to express how pleased they were that Steve Bruce was getting some wins under his belt. It really seems like they’re warming to him, even if it is in a sarcastic way at times.

Great what a manager who tries to win games rather than make a point to the owners does for you
