Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern have largely enjoyed this season so far and they seem to have received a welcome boost surrounding Rolando Aarons.
The Magpies have been going well this season and it looks like either one of them or Brighton will win the title – though Huddersfield could have something to say about that.
Whatever happens, though, it’s going to be a close run thing and so it really does need to be all hands to the pump between now and the end of the campaign.
Getting the squad back to full fitness would certainly be ideal, then, and, according to Chronicle Live, at least one man is making good progress to help that along.
Rolando Aarons has been injured for some time this season and it did seem touch and go whether he’d play again before the curtain call.
It appears now, though, that he could be back in action by April – just when the race for promotion is set to reach a crescendo.
Aarons is an exciting young prospect and our local Magpies are hoping he’ll have a part to play in what they hope will be a successful finish to the year.
