Newcastle are enduring a torrid run of form and the future doesn’t look much brighter with the players continuing to let Rafa Benitez down.
Everything from top to bottom is a mess at Newcastle right now and if they don’t quickly find a solution then there will be little optimism for the season.
Mike Ashley is renowned for letting the club down but this summer could have been his worst as chairman because despite promising to help build the Newcastle team that finished 10th in the Premier League. In fact, he was one of few chairmen this summer in the Premier League to make a profit, something you can’t afford to do in today’s current market.
January is beginning to get more important by the day and if Newcastle could bring in the right players during the transfer window, maybe they have a chance at salvaging something this season.
That player could be Blackburn’s Bradley Dack, a player who has been in red-hot form this season.
Dack, who is valued at £4.5 million on Transfermarkt, has been influential for Blackburn this season, just like last.
From an attacking midfield role last season, he scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in the Championship alone and the start to this campaign has been just as electric.
Having already scored six goals and had a hand in four assists, Bradley Dack is a player surely awaiting a call from a Premier League club with such form and Newcastle have to push themselves to the front of the cue.
With the ability to play on the wing or in his preferred number ten role, Bradley Dack would be a brilliant addition at St. James’ Park and one that brings the life back into Newcastle.
