Newcastle United have finally made some progress in the market of late, much to the delight of the resident Geordies propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
Indeed, the Magpies have landed Jacob Murphy at long last and the members of the Toon Army frequenting our four walls are hopeful Rafa Benitez can continue to add his squad over the next few weeks.
With that in mind, reports from Football.London have proved interesting. They claim the Magpies are amongst a number of clubs said to be keen on West Ham United Robert Snodgrass, who has struggled to wholly convince in east London.
The Scotland international moved to the London Stadium in January after impressing for Hull City, though life in the capital hasn’t proved overly happy for him. Now, the Irons are said to be preparing for his exit already.
Newly promoted Newcastle and Brighton are reportedly keen on the 29-year-old, along with Sky Bet Championship sides Leeds United and Norwich City. A former Whites player of course, Snodgrass looks to be a man in demand.
Touted as a potential Toon target back in January, the Geordies in the Tavern would welcome his potential move to Tyneside.
