Newcastle United: Douglas thinks club should follow Brighton’s example with season ticket holders

It must be really tough and sad being a season ticket holder at any club with absolutely no football being played live in most countries and with people being forced to stay at home at all times.
Of course, first and foremost, it’s really not ideal because that makes the ticket useless but it’s also quite a financial hit since none of those tickets usually come cheap.
And that’s exactly why Mark Douglas believes Newcastle United should follow Brighton & Hove Albion’s example and provide their season ticket holders with a three-month paid holiday for 2020/21.
He urged the club to do the same and treat their own fans with a reward for being loyal even in times like these when there is no football to watch and their money has practically been thrown into the wind.
NUFC must follow suit IMO. https://t.co/YRs7JVv5R1

Even if they don’t do exactly the same, something should definitely be done regardless. Not to mention that it would score them extra brownies with the fanbase, which is always a plus.
