Newcastle United: Fans debate next potential Hall of Fame candidate following Rob Lee entry award

After Newcastle United legend Rob Lee was finally inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame on Wednesday, supporters are now taking to Twitter and picking out future candidates.
The Magpies picked up a bargain in Lee, 27 years ago in 1992, when the midfielder signed from Charlton Athletic for the daylight robbery fee of £700,000.
Should Newcastle sign Jetro Willems permanently?
Yes

No

Going on to become a Newcastle cult hero, partnering fellow legend Gary Speed in centre-midfield at one time, Lee amassed a total of 38 goals and three assists during his incredible stint at St. James’ Park.
Lee’s entry into the Newcastle Hall of Fame is arguably long overdue, and the news has prompted supporters to have a long discussion on Twitter over who should be rewarded next.
Of course, some supporters threw in ridiculous names like Nile Ranger and Jack Colback for comic effect, but there are a few names that make you question how they’re not already there.
Here’s what Newcastle fans had to say below…
Iron Mike, great servant, top professional, always gave his all for the club, now doing a great job at Gateshead.
