Newcastle United: Fans discuss ‘liability’ DeAndre Yedlin as transfer news emerges

Many Newcastle United fans have been discussing DeAndre Yedlin after ESPN‘s Paul Tenorio (via ChronicleLive) claimed that he is going to seek a move away from the Tyneside club.
However, Tenorio questioned where the 26-year old would go, as he explains that teams may not be able to afford his salary.
Respected commentator Jon Champion, who covers Major League Soccer, weighed into the debate on and said that at his age his next move is the most important in his career. He added that Yedlin is in a very interesting position at St. James’ Park at the moment with a potential takeover imminent.
Indeed, the American international has featured in 15 games in all competitions for the Toon this season, scoring one goal, according to Transfermarkt.
However, with competition for places in the right-back position, including with the likes of Javier Manquillo and Valentino Lazaro, Yedlin may seek a move away in order to try and gain more regular first-team football.
These NUFC supporters seemed happy for their man to leave on Twitter, with one Magpie branding him a ‘liability’:
Yes u should go🤪

No. He should be first out the door even without a takeover. Liability. #NUFC
