Newcastle United: Fans fume over injury update on Jetro Willems and Paul Dummett

According to an update on Twitter by Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, Newcastle United will have to fare without left-backs Jetro Willems and Paul Dummett for the rest of the season – prompting some Magpies supporters to go into meltdown on social media.
Willems, who has started 18 Premier League games for the Magpies this season, was taken off with an injury just 15 minutes into Newcastle’s dramatic 1-0 home win over Chelsea – meanwhile, Paul Dummett has also been rocked with a tendon injury (the Chronicle) that could see him miss the rest of the campaign as well.
Steve Bruce’s shortage of left-back options has now potentially hit crisis mode, with both men seemingly playing a crucial part in the team before their absences. The Dutchman, on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt, amassed 1.9 tackles and 2 clearances per game while scoring two goals and assisting two others, as per WhoScored.com. Meanwhile, Dummett averaged 3.8 clearances and 1.7 tackles from centre back.
As a result, Newcastle fans have been enquiring over what to do surrounding the injury crisis – find all of their best comments down below.
