Newcastle United: Fans gush as Premier League is set to give the takeover the go-ahead

Lots of Newcastle fans have been gushing as news emerged from The Shields Gazette that the Premier League are finally set to give the prospective takeover the go-ahead.
As per the outlet, it is expected to be approved by the top flight next week, as long as it passes the owner’s and director’s tests set out by England’s highest division.
The buying side were hopeful that their bid would be given the approval last week, and an announcement was planned, but the process, amid objections from beIN Sports and Amnesty International, has taken another few days.
Nevertheless, there is optimism from the proposed new owners that the deal will finally be approved next week, when the Tyneside club’s players could start returning to the training ground ahead of a proposed summer restart for the Premier League.
Several members of the Toon faithful have stayed patient up until now, but this could potentially be the breakthrough that Magpies wanted to hear.
Do you think this could be a major breakthrough?
