Following the departure of beloved former boss Rafael Benitez in the summer, some supporters have taken issue with constant updates surrounding the Spaniard.
Will Benitez ever return to Newcastle?
Benitez, who left St. James’ Park back in June, has been at the centre of Newcastle United-related gossip since he left to manage in China – with a recent report from the Mirror indicating that he may be open to a move back to the Premier League with West Ham United.
Upon hearing the news that Benitez could be making a return to England, a lot of Newcastle supporters have turned their back on the ex-Liverpool boss and claim they are sick of hearing constant updates over the manager’s movements – quite the U-turn from the love they shared for him during his Tyneside tenure and around the time of his departure.
Steve Bruce replaced the Champions League winner upon his exit, with the Magpies having won back to back games for the first time this season in their last couple of league games.
Newcastle have also scored five goals in that time, prompting some minor positivity ringing around Tyneside over potentially avoiding the drop.
Here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
Stop posting stuff about a previous manager that left months ago

Blokes a chancer living off a past CV, unfortunately our fans fell for him like mugs.
I’d give him 6 months.
