The Magpies put on a glorious attacking performance as Steve Bruce’s side scored more than one goal in a game for the first time this season, prompting fans and pundits alike to take notice of Saint-Maximin’s star contribution.

Although the French winger found himself through on goal twice in the first half, both times failing to capitalise, he was instrumental to Newcastle’s threat going forward – endearing himself to the St. James’ Park faithful even further.
