Newcastle United: Fans ponder latest Keith Downie update detailing more injury woes

After the revelation that Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin will miss the rest of December with a hamstring injury, Sky Sports journalist Keith Downie has broke some more bad news for the Magpies – with fellow creative forces Miguel Almiron and Jonjo Shelvey unlikely to play against Burnley with muscle problems.
Losing Saint-Maximin, who was starting to establish himself as one of the Magpies’ best creative players of the last few seasons, was a big enough blow for the month ahead – but now that Almiron and Shelvey also look likely to be sidelined because of hamstring and calf problems respectively, fans have been pondering what to do.
Shelvey, in particular, has found a new lease life this campaign – scoring in the Magpies’ last three encounters – including a stunning effort at home to Premier League champions Manchester City.
As a result, supporters gathered on Twitter in negativity over the news whilst also trying to establish how they should fix the problem.
Here’s what they had to say.
Sky sports Keith please stop giving us bad news. Or you’ll not be asked to Portugal next year 😉

So looking at this possible line-up:
Dubravka, Willems, Dummett, Schär, Fernandez, Manquillo; Hayden, S.Longstaff; Atsu, Carroll, Joelinton.— Daniel Driveklepp (@DDriveklepp) December 13, 2019
Somebody ask for chance to Atsu Muto Gayle and Matty before. It’s time now ! Admit it always end up bad result when we need to face situation like this but hopefully not that case tmr. #nufc

This is the reason Rafa always finished the season strong. He doesn’t take chances with injured players!
