Newcastle United: Fans praise Ciaran Clark following two-match scoring spree

Ciaran Clark has been the unlikely hero in Newcastle United’s last two Premier League home games, scoring consecutively and playing a crucial role during the Magpies’ two wins in a row.
Is Ciaran Clark under appreciated as a Newcastle player?
Yes

No

After Steve Bruce’ side came back from a goal down to edge past Bournemouth 2-1 at St. James’ Park, Clark has been getting mountains of praise for his monumental impact of late – scoring a towering header last weekend at the London Stadium and most recent poaching Newcastle’s winner at home to the Cherries.
Harry Wilson gave Bournemouth an early lead before the home side hit back with two goals either side of the first and second half, with Allan Saint-Maximin cutting inside for a shot that looked to be going wide before DeAndre Yedlin instinctively leapt on the ball and headed in the equaliser.
Right after half time, Newcastle got themselves in front at the perfect moment in the game – with Clark pouncing on a loose ball and slotting the Magpies in front with a scruffy side-foot finish.
Clinging on for a deserved three points, fans responded with never-ending praise for the Irishman, here’s what they had to say on Twitter:
