Newcastle United: Fans rage at transfer links to ex-Sunderland man Fabio Borini

Loads of Newcastle United fans are raging at a transfer link for former Sunderland man Fabio Borini after Tutto (via ChronicleLive) reported that the Tyneside club would be interested in a move in the summer transfer window.
According to the article, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have been long on the trail of the 29-year old, who recently joined Hellas Verona on a short-term deal from AC Milan but is out of contract at the end of the season.
Indeed, the ex-Black Cats winger made 93 appearances in all competitions on Wearside, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists, as per Transfermarkt.
However, the Italian has only managed eight appearances in his native country so far this campaign, netting twice, and may be seeking a move away to gain more regular football.
With the proposed takeover at St. James’ Park, it is unknown how much playing time Borini would get, but these members of the Toon faithful were raging on Twitter when they heard the news:
If this is what the takeover gives us then i would rather ashley stayed forever.
