Newcastle United: Fans react to Eberechi Eze transfer link

Many Newcastle United fans have reacted positively to a report claiming they could make a summer move for Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The Chronicle claim that the young attacker has been identified as a potential summer signing, reporting that the club have now joined the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United with interest.
The 21-year-old has been enjoying a superb season for the Championship side and has contributed to no less than 20 of his side’s goals this term, finding the net on 12 occasions whilst chipping in with eight assists.
Reacting to the news via Twitter, fan account NUFC 360 tweeted the news and gained a response from fans.
QPR’s highly-rated Eberechi Eze is being monitored by Newcastle United.
With uncertainty over future owners, Steve Nickson is having to work on his current list of targets while not entirely clear whether possible buyers would be looking at different kinds of targets. #NUFC

Having spent the first four of his professional seasons with QPR, the England U21 international has been enhancing his reputation both domestically and for his country, and fans of the English game will undoubtedly be keen to see him playing in the top-flight.
That excitement seemed to be shared as Newcastle fans responded positively to the reports of a move, understandably so given he is scoring plenty of goals from midfield in the second tier despite only being 21-years-old…

Would be a good signing for us honestly. To actually be signing good potential players playing wel in the Championship, instead of being linked with them so much, only to not sign them. Would love if we started doing that.

Touching on the potential of Eze’s arrival, one fan also asked the club to move for the youngster’s QPR teammate, Bright Osayi-Samuel, saying those two along with Allan Saint Maximin would be a superb trio.
Ye should go for Bright Samuel too, imagine him and Saint Maximin on either wing with their pace… terrify most PL defences! 😂

Eze would certainly prove to be a shrewd signing for Newcastle, but it will be interesting to see how far both Spurs and West Ham go in their attempts to make a summer move.
