Newcastle United: Fans react to Danny Rose’s interview ahead of Premier League clash with Sheffield United

Newcastle United’s loan signing Danny Rose has given a number of interviews ahead of Saturday’s visit to Sheffield United and as expected plenty of Magpies have slated his latest comments.
Speaking to NUFC TV, the 29-year-old admitted he isn’t playing at the level he wants to yet, but he is enjoying life in Tyneside and is confident of making Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2020 squad.
🗣️ "We've got a home game at the weekend where we know we're playing a very difficult team but we're on a roll."

Rose has featured in 5 Premier League games for Steve Bruce’s Black and Whites and hasn’t contributed a single goal or assist all season, although the defender has picked up 6 yellow cards during his spells with both Spurs and the Toon (Transfermarkt).
The England international played in the crucial 1-0 victory over Southampton last weekend, losing possession of the ball 14 times, only winning 1 out of 5 ground duels and 1 out of 2 aerial duels, earning himself a mediocre statistical rating of 6.6 in the process (SofaScore).
As could be expected, Rose’s interviews were mocked by a large portion of the Toon Army, with several supporters poking fun at his fitness levels.

Was doubtful from the start. His performances have proved average at best, he’s getting found out time and again, looks overweight and heavy legged, but ex-pros (mates) say its an excellent addition for nuucarsul. So I must be wrong! 🙄
