Newcastle United: Fans want ‘terrible’ Steve Bruce out of the club after Jamie Carragher’s verdict

Some Newcastle United fans want ‘terrible’ Steve Bruce out of the club after Jamie Carragher gave his verdict on the manager’s future.
Speaking on Sky Sports’ The Football Show (via ChronicleLive), the former Liverpool central defender claimed that it is inevitable that Bruce will be replaced, and highlighted how Mark Hughes was gone after about six months at Manchester City following their takeover.
However, the 42-year old did say that Bruce has done a really good job under difficult circumstances, as he has been managing under the financial constraints of Mike Ashley.
Nevertheless, as the CEO of Sports Direct leaves and new owners come in, the pundit warned that they will not be afraid to upset the apple cart and pointed out that technically Bruce is not their man.
‘Carra’ added that they will not want to give the coach a potentially big sum of money to spend if they do not see him as the Tyneside club’s future boss.
These Magpies seem to want Bruce to move on, with one member of the Toon faithful branding him a ‘terrible’ coach on Twitter:
Yep and I for one cannot wait!

He didn’t deserve the job in the first place. He was a cheap PR stunt that isn’t good enough.

He didn’t even deserve a crack in the first place, he’s proven over his career to be a championship manager at best. Why on earth would we persevere with him if we wanted to grow as a club.
